Powerful Angels

The following are various definitions of the word angel. An angel is a person of exemplary conduct or virtue. An angel is a guardian of human beings. An angel is a person having qualities such as beauty, purity or kindness.

 

What happened to images of angels, these pure otherworldly beings? When I think of angel images, I think about the pictures hanging on the walls in my grandma's house. Yes, the one of the two children walking and the angel protecting them. Classic image but I yearn for more.

 

I was brought up with a guardian angel. My parents told me that there was always an angel protecting me. This thought, this belief, allowed me to sleep some nights as a child. When I was scared, I knew that I had an angel of good near me, watching over me and warding off any negative entities that intended to do me harm. You have a guardian angel too.

 

 

 

Now, do angels have to be otherworldly or can they be human just like us? Sure, no human is perfect but think about a human being who has treated you with respect, care, joy and love. When you are around them, you feel happiness and peace. Visualize with me, an image of that human… now, give them angel wings. Big, beautiful, strong angel wings and a halo over their head. For some reason, I always think of this man. I don’t know him very well but he has always thanked me for bringing light into his life by just being me. He is an angel to me. He may have done some wrong but to me and my image, that doesn’t matter. I see him and all the good he has shown me.

 

I love using this visualization method. Try to visualize a boss, who has been instrumental in your professional growth, as an angel. They have been an angel to you. They  have offered you guidance and protection along  your professional journey. What about a parent or grandparent who has had your back no matter what! They are truly and angel of love to you. 

 

 

 

I hope to bring angels back into peoples minds. I believe in angels just as I believe in the spiritual realm. Horror movies want you to believe there are beings that will do us harm. Well, we have angelic beings to fight against evil with us.
